# GrowthxAI Outreach Onboarding Guide

> Go from an empty workspace to your first live campaign in four steps.

Welcome to GrowthxAI Outreach! This guide walks you through the four steps from an empty workspace to a live campaign. The first time you open **Outreach**, a workspace is created for you and the Dashboard shows the same checklist, **Welcome — let's get you set up**. Each step turns green as you complete it.

<Note>
  Connecting senders and building sequences needs the **Owner** or **Manager** role. See [Roles and Permissions](/getting-started/platform-overview/roles-and-permissions).
</Note>

## Step 1: Connect a sender

A **sender** is a LinkedIn account or mailbox that sends your outreach.

1. Go to **Senders → Connect sender**.
2. Choose **LinkedIn**, **Gmail**, **Outlook** or **IMAP / SMTP**.
3. Read the notice, tick the consent box, and fill in the sender details.
4. Click **Open hosted login**, or copy the link and send it to the account owner.

The sender shows **Connecting** until the login is complete, then turns **Connected**.

**Tip:** Connect senders as early as you can. New LinkedIn senders start at warm-up level 0 (4 invitations a day) and move up over the following weeks.

## Step 2: Import leads

Go to **Leads → Import** and choose one of three sources:

* **Search URL**: paste a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator people search. It runs over a few days, within the sender's limits.
* **CSV file**: upload a spreadsheet and map its columns.
* **Connections**: import a sender's existing 1st-degree connections.

## Step 3: Build a sequence

Go to **Sequences → New sequence**, give it a name, and lay out the steps on the canvas. A typical first sequence looks like this:

```text theme={null}
Start → Visit profile → Send invitation → Wait for connection
                                             ├─ connected  → Send message → Delay 4d → Send message → End
                                             └─ no connect → Withdraw invitation → End
```

Add your senders to the **Pool** in the top bar, then click **Save**.

## Step 4: Activate and enroll leads

1. Click **Activate**. The pre-activation check validates your steps and reviews your copy.
2. Click **Enrol**, choose your leads, and confirm.

Actions are then planned into each sender's working hours. Follow progress on the Dashboard, and answer replies in the Inbox.

## Step 5: Watch the results

Open **Reports** after the first week. The **Replies** tab is the one to read first — it splits replies by intent, so you find out whether you are getting *interest* rather than just answers. See [The Reports Page](/reports/reports-overview).

You will not have to watch for problems: if a campaign quietly stops sending, or a sender is about to run out of leads, the platform [tells you](/reports/stalled-and-running-dry-alerts).
