# Sender Statuses and Errors

> What each sender status means, why a sender is paused, and how to fix it.

Every sender shows a colored status pill on the **Senders** list, the Dashboard and its own page. Hover the pill to see the exact reason.

## Green: Connected

The sender is working normally and carrying out actions during its working hours. No need to worry!

## Blue: Connecting

The hosted login was started but hasn't finished.

✅ **Solution:** Finish the login within 15 minutes, or generate a new link from the sender page. See [How to Connect Your LinkedIn Account](/getting-started/onboarding-first-steps/connect-linkedin-account).

## Red: Re-login needed

LinkedIn ended the session. **All actions are held** (they stay queued, nothing is lost) until the account is logged in again. A **Reconnect sender** task is created automatically.

✅ **Solution:**

1. Open the sender and go to the **Overview** tab.
2. Click **Send re-login link**. It's emailed to the owner, and shown on screen for 15 minutes with **Copy** and **Open** buttons.
3. If the sender uses the [Chrome extension](/senders/chrome-extension-guide), you can click **Retry cookie reconnect** instead. The status updates within a minute.

The platform also chases this for you:

* Extension-connected senders are retried automatically up to 4 times, at most once an hour. After that, reminder emails are sent daily.
* Other senders get a re-login link emailed daily, up to 3 times.

### LinkedIn asked for a verification code

If LinkedIn shows a security checkpoint (for example "Enter the 6-digit code we sent you"), an amber **Verification code (LinkedIn checkpoint)** box appears on the Overview tab. Enter the code and click **Submit code**. If the box isn't shown, click **Have a verification code from LinkedIn? Enter it here**.

## Red: Error

The LinkedIn or email provider reported a problem. Hover the pill for the reason.

✅ **Solution:** On the Overview tab, try **Resync**, then **Refresh profile**. If the error persists, check the **Events** tab for details.

## Amber: Paused

Paused senders don't plan new actions. There are several reasons a sender can be paused:

| Reason                                                  | What to do                                                                                                                                    |
| ------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Paused by a manager**                                 | Click **Resume** on the sender's **Danger** tab                                                                                               |
| **Auto-paused: health below 50**                        | Wait. It resumes automatically when health recovers to 50 or more. See [Understanding Sender Health](/deep-dive/understanding-sender-health). |
| **Auto-paused: 3+ errors from LinkedIn within an hour** | Wait. It resumes automatically after 24 hours.                                                                                                |
| **Billing suspended / trial expired**                   | Resumes automatically once the subscription is active. See [Subscription Management](/subscription-and-billing/subscription-management).      |

An **auto-paused until…** badge on the Overview tab shows when an automatic pause ends.

### Invites blocked until…

If LinkedIn says it "cannot resend yet", invitations are blocked until the **next Monday** (the sender's local time). Other actions carry on as normal.

## Grey: Disabled

The sender was permanently switched off. Queued actions were cancelled, live enrollments ended, and syncing stopped. Its conversations and history can still be read. To use the account again, connect it as a new sender.
