# Why Were Leads Skipped When Enrolling?

> What the skipped counts mean after you enroll leads, and how to fix each one.

The enrol **preview** shows who is eligible and who is excluded *before* anything happens, and the result screen shows what actually happened. Both group leads by reason.

Skipping is a safety feature: the platform won't contact someone twice from the same sender, won't re-approach someone who just answered, and won't touch anyone you've blocked.

## Skipped — already active with this sender

The lead already has a **live enrollment** with the chosen sender, in this or another sequence. A lead can only be in one sequence per sender at a time.

✅ **Solution:** Wait for the other enrollment to finish, or **Exit** it from the lead's profile and enroll again. You can also choose a different sender.

## Skipped — suppressed / do-not-contact

The lead is marked **Do not contact**, has unsubscribed, or matches an entry in [Blacklists](/crm-lead-management/crm-features-use-cases/suppressions) — their email domain, their company, or the client or sequence scope you set.

The preview names which one, so you don't have to guess.

✅ **Solution:** If they really should be contacted, click **Clear DNC** on the lead, or remove the matching blacklist entry. Otherwise, this is working as intended.

## Skipped — replied recently

The lead answered **any** of your senders, on any channel, in the last **90 days**. Approaching someone again a fortnight after they replied is how outreach gets reported as spam, so it is off by default.

The preview lists up to 50 of these people with the date and channel.

✅ **Solution:** If you mean to contact them again — a new offer, a new quarter — tick **Include leads who replied recently** and enrol. Otherwise, pick them up in the Inbox where the conversation already is.

## Skipped — no fresh sender

Only with the **Fresh sender** assignment rule: every sender in the pool has already invited or messaged this lead, so there is no untouched account left to use.

✅ **Solution:** Add another sender to the pool, or switch the rule to **Same sender as before** to carry on from whoever spoke to them last.

## Skipped — other

Something else stopped the enrollment, for example the lead was deleted while you were selecting.

✅ **Solution:** Check the lead's profile, then try enrolling it on its own.

## Enrolled, but nothing is happening

Enrolled leads are planned into the sender's **next** working hours, within its daily limits. Also check:

* **Is the sequence active?** Leads enrolled into a draft or paused sequence wait at the Start step.
* **Is the sender connected?** See [Sender Statuses and Errors](/senders/sender-statuses-and-errors).
* **Were they counted as "waiting"?** With *wait for enrichment* or *hold for AI review* on, leads are enrolled but held before the first step.

Or click **Why isn't this sending?** on the sequence for a direct answer.

## Q: Is there a limit to how many I can enroll at once?

Yes: **10,000 leads** per enrollment. Larger selections are capped at 10,000.
