A blacklisted person is never contacted. Enrolling them is refused, and a live enrollment ends as suppressed at the next step. Use it for competitors, existing customers, and anyone who has asked not to be contacted. The page is Settings → Blacklists. Everyone can read it; Owners and Managers can edit.
Nothing is deleted. Blocking someone keeps the lead, their timeline and their conversation. You can still read the history and reply by hand. A blacklist decides what goes out automatically, not what you are allowed to remember.

What you can block

Values are stored in lowercase. Domains have http, www, any path and a leading @ removed, and full LinkedIn URLs are cut down to the identifier. Company names are matched loosely, so Acme Inc. and Acme match each other.

Scope

Every entry has a scope, and the scope is part of the entry — the same domain can be blocked for one client and allowed for another. Client scope is the one agencies need. It lets you block client A’s customers and competitors without blocking them for client B.

Adding entries

  • Add one — choose the scope and kind, enter the value and an optional reason such as existing customer.
  • Bulk paste — one value per line. With Auto-detect per line, anything containing @ is an email, anything that looks like a host is a domain, and everything else is a LinkedIn identifier. Duplicates are ignored.
  • Upload a CSV — one value per row, with optional kind and reason columns. Pick the client or sequence first if the entries are scoped.

When it is checked

Twice, deliberately:
  1. At enrolment. The preview counts excluded leads and names the reason.
  2. At send time. An entry added mid-campaign stops the lead at its next step, so you don’t have to hunt down who is already in flight.

Other ways people are excluded

  • A single lead marked Do not contact.
  • Anyone who unsubscribes from an email, across the whole workspace.
  • Anyone who replied to any sender in the last 90 days, unless you include them on purpose.
  • With CRM sync, your existing customers and open deals, kept up to date automatically and marked with the source crm:<provider>.
Entries added by the CRM are removed when they stop being customers. Entries you added by hand or by CSV are never touched by the sync.
